Lovewell State Park
Lovewell State Park Office hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. After office hours, please utilize the self pay station for daily vehicle and campsite permits. Lovewell State Park's Open House is scheduled for Saturday March 29th. This is also the park's first of two Free Park Entrance Days. A state park vehicle permit is not required on this day to enter the park. Park office will be open 8am to 4:30pm for permit sales, Annual Camp and 14Day Camp permits are discounted. The LEVI STRONG group will be hosting a 10K run and 2 mile run/walk event fundraiser beginning at 10 am. Registration information is available at the LEVI STRONG Facebook page. Fisheries Biologist Scott Waters will be presenting the Lovewell and Glen Elder Fishing Forecasts program at the Willow Group Shelter at 1:30 pm. Park staff will be available for camping cabin tours from 9 am to 3 pm that day.
Lovewell Reservoir is currently at 4.5 ft below conservation pool. Facilities still closed for the season are: Cottonwood, Cedar Point and North Willow Utility Campgrounds; and Cottonwood, Southwinds and Willow Shower/Restroom facilities. Facilities open and available for early season use are: Walleye Point Utility Campground and Shower/Restroom facility and South Willow Utility Campground.
Campsite reservations for the Walleye Point, Cottonwood and North Willow Utility Campgrounds are available at www.reserveamerica.com, or by calling the office during business hours. Camping Cabin reservations are available up to 364 days in advance. 2014 Hunting/Fishing licenses and Park Permits are now available. Purchase your Annual or 14 Day Camping Permits before March 31st and receive the off-season price! Remember, Kansas residents can purchase their Annual Park Passport at a reduced rate with vehicle registration at the courthouse!

Pioneer Camping Cabin is designated as a "PET FRIENDLY" cabin. Customers who wish to bring their pets for their stay at the Pioneer Camping Cabin will need to choose the "Pet Friendly" option on the online reservation page (or request it during a telephone reservation), and pay an add'l fee of $50.00. All other cabins remain as "No Pets Allowed". Pets must be kept outside in a kennel or on a secured chain or leash.
