GOOD NEWS FOR SUMAC CAMPGROUND CAMPERS! Folks who camp at Sumac Campground have long known how nice it is to stay at this full hookup campground in the Langley Point area. Now it's even better! The electric service has been upgraded to 50-amp service, and we've added frost-free hydrants. With all the improvements going on there, we've decided to add one more option to camping there. Sumac Campground is now reservable. That's right. You now are able to call the park office and reserve a site in this campground year-round. As with our other reservable campground, Rockin' K, Sumac is a prime site campground with the small in-season prime site fee added. So give us a call and get your site reserved for your favorite date this year! (Sumac and Rockin' K Campgrounds are the only reservable campgrounds at Kanopolis State Park.) We can only take campground reservations for this calendar year.
LONG TERM CAMPING-- Long-term camping is available at Kanopolis on a month-to-month basis. Costs are determined by the number of utilities available at the site. Long-term contracts are available at the park office. Remember all campsites must be attended to at least once in every 24-hour period.
