Fishing Report - Last Update: 5/1/2015

Species Rating Size Baits, Method, & Location
Bluegill / redear  Fair/good All sizes Try worms or small jigs fished slowly around structure and weedlines.
Channel catfish  Fair/good All sizes Try shad sides, liver, prepared baits, minnows, worms, or shrimp fished near the bottom. The three fish feeders now in operation. Feeding times are 7:00am, 1:00pm, 7:00pm and 1:00 am.
Crappie  Fair/good 7 -12 inches The surface water temperature is in the low to mid 60's so crappie should be in shallow to spawn. A jig or minnow fished a few feet below a bobber can be effective.  If you can't find fish in shallow, try fishing brush or cover in a little deeper water. Many 7 to 10-inch fish are available, with some quality fish mixed in.
Largemouth bass  Fair/good All sizes Try jigs, plastic baits, spinner baits, or crank baits fished around structure and weedlines.
