Paddlefish Poor   Paddlefish season is open from March 15 - May 15.  Snagging is allowed in Chetopa City Park from the low-head dam to the boat ramp on the Labette/Cherokee County line.
General Comments
THE SNAGGING SEASON OPENS MARCH 15 AND RUNS THROUGH MAY 15TH.

•Catch and release is allowed on the Neosho River

•A fish must be kept if placed on a stringer. Culling is not allowed.

•A state-issued permit is required. Two paddlefish may be harvested daily and six may be harvested in a season.

•Barbless hooks are required at Chetopa.
