|Black Crappie||Slow||up tp 1.0 lbs.||In October we sampled 335 black crappie in traps: 26 were less than 5", 28 were between 5-8", 137 were between 8-10", 141 were between 10-12" and 3 were between 12-15" with the largest black crappie being 12.4" and weighing 1.0 lbs. The largest white crappie was just over a pound. Tube jigs and minnow around brush.|
|Bluegill||Slow||up to 0.44 lbs.||In October we sampled 231 bluegill with traps: 171 were less than 3", 53 were between 3-6" and 7 were between 6-8" with the largest bluegill being 7.8" and weighing 0.44 lbs. Small jig or spinner tipped with a worm in the brush.|
|Channel Catfish||Slow||up to 8.0 lbs.||In October we sampled 47 channel catfish in gill nets: 2 were less than 11", 2 were between 11-16", 37 were between 16-24", 4 were between 24-28" and 2 were between 28-36" with the largest channel catfish being 30.9" and weighing 13.7 lbs. Shad sides work great this time of year even under the ice.|
|Largemouth Bass||Slow||up to 6.4 lbs.||In May we sampled 137 largemouth bass by electrofishing: 2 were less than 8", 15 were between 8-12", 38 were between 12-15", 77 were between 15-20" and 5 were between 20-25" with the largest bass being 21.5" and weighing 6.4 lbs. Plastics worked slow around the brush and standing timber.|
|Walleye/ Sauger||Slow||up to 3 lbs.||In October we sampled 28 walleye in gill nets: 1 was less than 10", 7 were between 10-15", 7 were between 15-20", 9 were between 20-25" and 4 were between 25-30" with the largest walleye being 25.8" and weighing 5.5 lbs. In October we sampled 20 sauger in gill nets: 2 were between 7-11", 3 were between 11-14", 12 were between 14-17" and 3 were between 17-20" with the largest sauger being 18.7" and weighing 1.8 lbs. Jigs tipped with a minnow on the breaks.|
