Restrooms areclosed for the season and will reopen in April
Trail restrooms in Princeton, Richmond, Welda, Colony and Carlyle have been closed for the season and will reopen in April.
Trail restrooms in Ottawa and Garnett, Located in the Adjacent Historic Depots, are open year-round.
A minor detour is in place within the city of Iola around a damaged bridge, we hope to have this sectionopen by spring but until completion visitors will be asked to use the posted detour onto city streets.
Although the State Park geocache event is no longer active, we leave our geocache boxes out year round and it offers visitors a chance to go find the locations on these nice winter days we have been having.
For a Kansas winter the weather has been great. The trail is in good shape
