Crawford State Park News
Well we are in the winter season and the park staff is busy doing renovations for the 2013 season. Right now the rental cabins are getting their annual deep cleaning with new dishwashers being added to all on Evening Breeze Point. The staff feels this will be an amenity that will be sure to please all users.
We are currently in the process of hiring camp host for the 2013 season and invite anyone who may be interested to contact Rick Larson at the park office @ 620-362-3671 with any questions.
With the popularity of the reservation program last year, reservable sites have been expanded in the second campground. This will include many popular sites with 50 amp service and we hope they will help to satisfy the user demands of this popular program.
The big question this time of the year is, when full service operations will return to the park. Right now all electrical services are on at in the campgrounds. We plan on opening the first bathhouse in mid March, with water to the campsites in Rocky Cove campground soon to follow.
