White-tailed deer, upland game featured
JUNCTION CITY -- The Geary County Convention and Visitor's Bureau (GCCVB) has become the first CVB in Kansas to win two Telly Awards using in-house production work. The Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs. The awards receive more than 14,000 entries annually from all 50 states and many foreign countries.

GCCVB earned a Bronze Telly in the Travel and Tourism category for Land of the Giants, a DVD production highlighting whitetail deer in the Flint Hills. GCCVB garnered another Bronze Telly in the same category for Kansas Upland Bird Hunting, a DVD production highlighting the Sunflower State's upland bird hunting. This video features pheasant, quail, and prairie chicken hunting in a variety of landscapes.
