Waterfowl numbers |
3500 ducks on the reservoir today, mostly mallards, other species seen include pintail, widgeon, gadwall, and mergansers. Less than 100 Canada Geese. Reports indicat that many more birds than were seen on the reservoir may be using fields and feed lots near the reservoir and roosting on the lake at night. |

Excellent. The reservoir is completely ice free. |
