Fall River Reservoir Waterfowl Report

Waterfowl numbers

4000 ducks, mostly mallards seen on the reservoir today. Other species present include pintail, widgeon, gadwall and mergansers. Reports indicate that many birds may be leaving the reservoir at daylight and returning throughout the day and especially in the evening.

Water level

approximately 1.5' above conservation pool.

Hunting conditions

Excellent, Reserovoir is 99% ice free and should be ice free soon if warmer temperatures persist.

Expected hunting success

Good - Excellent. Hunter success has been high.
