Recent fish population sampling indicates alot of nice crappie and an improving walleye population. Thanks again for your help to Keep Fishing Areas Clean! Baits and equipment are readily available around the lake and at Light House Bay and North Shore Marinas which are also good places to start a fishing trip on the lake. Reports indicate crappie are being caught from the docks and on the 110 arm with jigs and minnows. When fishing for wipers, walleye and white bass, fish points and shoreline areas which the wind is blowing towards. Don't Be A Sinker! Be Aware of Hypothermia! The Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks has a zero tolerance policy for lifejacket violations Have FUN,Get the kids, get your friends and Go Fishing.
