General Comments

We want to say Thanks again for your help to Keep the Fishing Areas Clean!

Fishing activity and fishing success has improved greatly this past week. Crappie are starting to move shallow to about 6 ft of water around the lake. They are not on the shore yet but close. Shore Anglers as well as Boat Anglers have been having success using a minnow bobber combo and black and pink tube jigs. Channel catfishing has picked up with good success on 2-7lb fish in the coves and near boat ramps. People have been catching them near the ramps with crappie guts and dip bait has been proving successful all over the lake. While out patrolling the reservoir from my patrol boat, I've witnessed numerous schools of white bass and wipers blowing up on the surface chasing bait fish. Only a few anglers have been targeting them but the ones who are, are having excellent fishing. Hope this helps.
