Species Rating Size Baits, Methods, and Location
Largemouth Bass Good up to 6 lbs. This lake has a good bass population. A good percentage of the sampled population is in the 15-20" range.
Bluegill Excellent up to 8" This lake has an excellent bluegill population. A total of 383 bluegill were caught in 2 nets and most of the bluegill caught were 6-8" in length.
Channel Catfish Good 8-30" A nice population of quality sized fish is available with most fish ranging from 2-4 lbs, however 2 lunkers were caught during fall sampling one tipped the scale at 18.25 lbs. and the other at 16.5 lbs.
Crappie Fair up to 13" The crappie population seems to be comprised mainly of sub legal fish but there are some larger fish available.
Wiper Fair up to 15 lbs. There is a fair population of wipers in this lake. Most fish are quality sized however some trophy sized fish are available.
Current Fishing Opportunity      
Largemouth Bass Fair up to 7lbs. Spinnerbaits and large jigs worked slowly around the shoreline structure. The warmer weather in upcoming days should trigger a good bite the fish should move shallower chasing baitfish.
Bluegill Fair up to 8 inches Worms under a bobber along shoreline vegetation and structure small jigs or flies can also be productive
Channel Catfish fair-good 8-30 inches shad sides or other prepared bait lakewide.
Crappie fair 6-10 inches Small jigs fished around any type of structure or along the bank.
Wiper Slow up to 15lbs!  Try using any type of shad imitating lures and even chicken liver will produce some fish.
