Black Crappie

Fair-Good

Up to 1.0 lbs

Fish have scattered for the summer after the spawn, a few being caught off the end of the jetty by the boat ramp. Small jig maybe tip with a crappie nibble or minnow also off the piers.

Bluegill

Fair-Good

Up to .5 lbs

Small hunk of worms or small jigs up in that shallow water. Most are done spawning still a few around the beds.

Channel Catfish

Fair-Good

Up to 13.0 lbs

Fish with cut bait, shad, liver, prepared baits or even a glob of worms up the creek. These guys are spawning now.

Largemouth Bass

Fair-Good

Up to 5.0 lbs.

With the water warming spinner bait or plastic will do you some good, roadrunners or twisters! These guys are done spawning, we measured some youngsters that were 30 mm yesterday while electrofishing.

Walleye

Fair

Up to 4.0 lbs.

Work those breaks in both corners of the dam with a deep diving crank bait, drift a jig and crawler.

Wiper

Fair

Up to 6 lbs

Fish those points either side of the boat ramp with shad colored crank baits or drift a shad.
