Black Crappie

Fair-Good

up to 1.0 lbs

Tube jigs and/or minnows still some fish shallow however most of the spawning is over. Work those brush piles and end of the jetty.

Bluegill

Fair

up to 0.4 lbs

Small hunk of worm or spinner under a bobber around the shallow brush and weed edges. Electrofish this week and fish aren't up shallow yet but the next week should be good, water is still pretty cool.

Channel Catfish

Fair-Good

up to 8 lbs

Get out those shad side and guts, fish around the fish feeder and off of the pump house cove points.

Largemouth Bass

Fair-Good

up to 4 lbs.

Plastics and small spinner baits worked slow and shallow. Fish will move into the warmer water on those sunny days. Be on the lookout for spawning beds.

Walleye

Fair

up to 4.0 lbs.

Crank baits and twisters off of the points either side of the pump house cove. Saw a few in the trees on the south end.

Wiper

Fair

up to 5.0 lbs.

Crank baits, large twisters or shad at the mouth of the cove on the east side.

General Comments

Lake has come up some and the City has put the dock in but feet becareful out there!

Stocked 200,000 walleye fry a few weeks ago, will be a couple of years before they are eating size!
