|LM Bass||Slow||up to 3.0 lbs||In May we sampled 239 bass: 100 were less than 8", 85 were between 8-12", 37 were between 12-15" and 17 were between 15-20" with the largest bass being 18.2" and weighing 3.01 lbs. Work those shallow areas along the curly leaf pondweed, plastics or small spinners.|
|Channel Catfish||Slow||up to 4.0 lbs||In October we sampled 11 channel catfish in gill nets: 5 were between 11-16" and 6 were between 16-24" with the largest channel catfish being 22" and weighing 4.0 lbs. Shad sides work well this time of year, even through the ice.|
|Bluegill||Slow||up to 0.3 lbs||In October we sampled 60 bluegill in traps: 14 were less than 3", 32 were between 3-6", 11 were between 6-8" and 3 were over 8" with the largest bluegill being 8.0" and weighing 0.4 lbs. Small tube jig or spinner tipped with a worm.|
|Crappie||Slow||up to .5 lbs||In October 5 crappie were sampled in traps, 3 were Black Crappie and 2 were White Crappie: 1 was less than 5", 1 was between 5-8", 1 was between 8-10", 1 was between 10-12" and 1 was between 12-15" with the largest crappie being 13.2" and weighing 1.2 lbs. Small tube jigs tipped with a minnow around those brush piles in 8-10' of water.|
|Redear Sunfish||Slow||up to 0.6 lbs||In October we sampled 95 redear in traps: 1 was less than 4", 66 were between 4-7", 26 were between 7-9" and 2 were over 9" with the largest redear being 10.1" and weighing 0.6 lbs. Small hunk of worm or small spinner near the brush.|
|Wiper||Slow||up to 5.0 lbs||In October we sampled 36 wipers in gill nets: 7 were less than 8", 9 were between 8-12", 12 were between 12-15" and 8 were between 15-20" with the largest wiper being 23" and weighing 5.2 lbs. Large shad colored plastics.|
|Walleye||Slow||Up to 4.5 lbs||In October we sampled 9 walleye in gill nets: 5 were between 10-15", 1 was between 15-20" and 3 were between 20-25" with the largest walleye being 23.4" and weighing 4.5 lbs. Fish the points big jig tipped with minnow.|
