This lake contains a good population of 6-8" bluegill. They are caught primarily on live bait near shallow water cover and rock.

Catfish

1 to 10 lbs

Decent numbers of smaller channel cats are caught lakewide on traditional catfish baits. Flatheads are caught along the rocky dam on live bait.

Crappie

Very Good

.5 to 1.5 lbs

Crappie are abundant, some up to 15". They are caught on jigs and/or live bait near brush, primarily in the Spring and Winter.

Largemouth Bass

Fair

up to 3 lbs

Largemouth bass are present, but in low numbers. They are caught near brush on artificials, and along the dam on crankbaits.

White bass

Good

up to 2 lbs

There are good numbers of white bass currently available, and most can be found in the creek and along the dam in the Spring and Fall. Best baits are jigs and spinners.

This shallow lake has the best fishing for crappie and white bass, and channel catfish which are stocked annually.
