Black Crappie

Fair-Good

Up to 1.0 lbs.

Work the fishing piers with a bright colored jig, or corner of the Dam. They are done spawning and will scatter for the summer.

Bluegill

Fair-Good

Up to .4 lbs.

Small jigs or small hunk of worm in and around the brush piles are about done spawning, males still around beds.

Channel Catfish

Fair-Good

up to 8 lbs.

Feeders are in and feeding sinking feed 7:30, 8, noon, 7 & 7:30 pm. Cut bait or shad sides work well this time of year. Saw some nice fish when we netted, pictures are up.

Largemouth Bass

Fair-Good

up to 4 lbs.

Electrofished last week and saw some nice fish, I'll have some pictures up shortly. Work the shallow brush with spinner or twister. Remember the 13-18" limit is now in place.

General Comments

Alan is the creel clerk that will be asking you a few questions that are important to the Lake's management. Creel census will run through October so you'll probably run into Alan sometime at the lake.
