Students must complete the online portion of the course prior to attending the field day. The online course is accessed by links at http://kdwpt.state.ks.us/news/Services/Education/Hunter/Internet-assisted-Course. Each student will be issued a pre-test over the online materials. 
All students will be tested over the Internet course material. This pre-test will be administered at the beginning of the Field Day. A passing score of 22 correct answers out of 25 questions is required to proceed with the rest of the course. Students failing to achieve the minimum score of 22 will be dismissed from the class.
The field walk session will be as much like an actual hunt as possible. It is recommended to wear boots or walking shoes and long pants. 

Instructor Notes for Students: This will be an internet assisted class, so please pay attention to the requirements necessary to participate. Students will be required to bring the Certificate of Completion to the instructor the day of the class or they will not be allowed to participate--no exceptions!

Students will be required to participate in a trail walk, so please dress appropriately for the weather, which includes the proper footwear for being outside.

October weather can be very unpredictable, so watch the weather and dress accordingly. We will be outside rain, snow or shine.

Lunch will be provided at no charge to students, and at a nominal charge to parents or others attending class.

Class will be held 9am-12 at Western Electric. 1-4pm students are to meet at the Law Enforcement Building and following to shoot at a location south of Wakeeney.
