Bluegill Fair-Good up to 0.3 lbs. Small hunk of worm or spinner around the piers and the corners of the dam.  May electrofishing data:  we sampled 232 bluegill in 0.85 hours of electrofishing time.  The largest fish was about 7" and weighed 0.32 lbs.
Channel Catfish Fair-Good up to 8.0 lbs Filled the fish feeders for the last time on Thursday, will last a couple weeks.  Fish feeders are feeding sinking food at 7, 7:30am, noon, 7 and 7:30 pm.  Fresh shad or cut bait work great this time of year or a dough bait.
Largemouth Bass Fair up to 5.0 lbs Spinner baits and crankbaits worked slow around the brush fish are done spawning.  We sampled 89 lm bass in 0.85 hrs or 96.47 Stock length fish (8" or greater)/hr with the largest fish being 8.47 lbs.  I wish we had netted the big one off the face of the dam, probably 10 lbs!
White/ Black Crappie Fair-Good up to 1.0 lbs. Tube jigs close to the shore, still a few males in next to the bank bigger fish have scattered for the summer!

Ken Heaton is the new Creel Clerk for NEBO.  He will be asking you fishermen a few simple questions and recording the information to help us better manage the fishery for you!

I see a few if you have visited the new Facebook page.  I've been posting lots of photos that aren't in the fishing reports: walleye egg collection, stocking and electrofishing.  Just click on this link hopefully you'll LIKE what you see!

May electrofishing pictures are up now, take a look at these largemouth bass! Click on NEBO above fishing report to see these fish. Click on the fish species and it will take you to the updated Fishing Forecast.
