Crawford State Park News
Crawford State Park is one of 24 parks managed by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism. So… we are not affected by the current federal government shut down. We are open for business as normal and there are still many camping opportunities available.
Now with that said the most common asked question is how long will your waterborne facilities be open? Parks like most campers are designed for summer use, however we do have four season facilities available. At Crawford State Park we will begin shutting down our beach building and some campground water by the end of October. Through December, we will have water available at the campsites in Rocky Cove and the heated shower building adjacent to the group use are will be open. We always have electrical service available in the campgrounds, so winter camping is an option.
We encourage all to participate in off season camping as it provides some of the best outdoor opportunities.
See you at the park!
