Fishing Report - Last Update: 4/24/2015

Species Rating Size Baits, Method, & Location
Bluegill / redear  Fair/good All sizes Try worms or small jigs fished slowly around structure and weedlines.
Channel catfish  Fair All sizes Try shad sides, liver, prepared baits, minnows, worms, or shrimp fished near the bottom. Hope to have the three fish feeders going by May 1.
Crappie  Fair/good 7 -12 inches The surface water temperature is in the low to mid 60's so crappie should be in shallow to spawn. A jig or minnow fished a few feet below a bobber can be effective.  If you can't find fish in shallow, try fishing brush or cover in a little deeper water. Many 7 to 10-inch fish are available, with some quality fish mixed in.
Largemouth bass  Fair All sizes Try jigs, plastic baits, spinner baits, or crank baits fished around structure and weedlines.
