This lake is enrolled into the Community Fisheries Assistance Program. A city fishing permit is no longer required. Shoreline access is good along the dam and parts of the north and south side. There are several underwater brushpiles along the north part of the lake. These brushpiles attract bass, crappie and bluegill improving angler success.
