pecies Rating Size Baits, Method, & Location
Crappie No report   Fish around any brush or vegetation you can find as well as drop-offs. Minnows under a bobber is probably the best option.
Flathead catfish No report   Fish live bait around the brush piles.
Wipers No report   Try drifting live shad, sunfish, minnows, or vertically fishing slabspoons.
Largemouth bass Fair   Try jigs, crankbaits and slow rolled spinnerbaits around wood in the vegetation.
Channel catfish No report   Try liver, shrimp, worms or cut bait.
General Comments

With the warmer temperatures, fishing should begin to improve. Crappie should be moving out of the deeper water and begin to move towards the shallows.  Try for them using small jigs and minnows along the vegetation, rocks and brushpiles. Try for channel catfish using prepared stinkbait, worms or liver. Try for largemouth bass with jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Try for wipers using a jigs and crankbaits in the windblown areas. Try for bluegill using small jigs, or a cricket or piece of worm under a bobber.

Please discard of leftover bait in a trash can, even baitfish. Remember it is illegal to release any fish into public water unless it was taken from that water!
