2015 Fishing Forecast  
Walleye Fair - Good Up to 8 lbs. Water temperatures are at walleye spawning temperatures. Fish will congregating off the dam and other rocky/gravel area around the lake. Fishing will be best using shad imitation lures at dawn, dust or night when fish move into shallower water. It should noted that the walleye egg taking project by KDWPT personnel on the dam has initiated for 2015.
Crappie Good Fish are 9 to 11 inches and few up to 13 inches Crappie are in transition from winter areas to closer to shoreline. Crappie will move close to shore when spawning temperature of approximately 60 degrees are met. Some crappie are being taken on jigs or minnows in the marina arm and in timber near Marysville boat ramp to the causeway.  
White Bass Fair-Good Up to 2 lbs. White bass can be taken on a wide range of shad imitation lures. A few fish are being taken in the Little Bull Arm near the causeway and the shore near Windsurfer Beach. 



Fair Up to 4 lbs. Early spring bass fishing is best near the shoreline that allows for early water warming. The traditional lures such as spinner baits and plastics presented in a slower presentation.

Channel Catfish Fair-Good  Up to 10 lbs. Channel cat can be taken on a variety of baits using the traditional prepared or live baits on pole & line and set lines. Shallower areas in the upper reaches of the reservoir tend to be better at this time of the year.
