Species Rating Size Baits, Method, & Location
Largemouth Bass Good up to 6 lbs Largemouth are abundant, but large fish are scarce. Angling will be best near rock and brush on artificials.
Bluegill Fair 6 to 8 Inches Look for bluegill around the rocks on the piers and around any brush in the water. Worms and small jigs are a good bait.
Channel Catfish Fair Small Fair numbers of stocked channel catfish are available to anglers using typical catfish techniques.
Saugeye Good up to 24" Saugeye numbers and sizes are very good. Most will be caught on shad imitation baits, or jig and a worm.
Wiper Poor up to 24" Wipers are not abundant, but some can be caught on shad imitation lures and topwater baits.
Crappie Fair up to 15" Crappie numbers are stable, so angling will be fair/good on jigs and minnows along the dam and near brush/rocks.
