Tuttle Creek Wildlife Area News
Dove Fields 2014:
Four areas of managed dove fields are available. Free daily hunt permits will be required of all hunters and are available at the hunt site. Non- toxic shot is required of all hunters using managed dove fields at Tuttle Creek Wildlife Area.
Area 1- One 13 acre sunflower field and one 14 acre wheat field. The fields are located at the Old Irving Townsite, or 2 1/2 miles south and 3 miles east of Blue Rapids. Non-toxic shot is required.
Area 2- One 25 acre sunflower field and one 16 acre wheat field. The fields are located just west of the Black Vermillion marsh, or 2 miles south of the intersection of Zenith and 14th roads. Non-toxic shot is required.
Area 3- One 17 acre sunflower field and one 8 acre wheat field. The fields are located just south of the Olsburg marsh, or 1/4 mile west of the intersection of Shannon Creek and Cleburne roads. Non-toxic shot is required.
Area 4-One 40 acre sunflower field located approximately 2.5 miles north of the town of Randolph, or 1/2 mile east of the intersection of Hwy 77 and Fancy Creek road. Non-toxic shot is required.
