Species

Rating

Size

Baits, Method, & Location

Channel Catfish

Fair

16-24 inches

Some anglers are having luck on warmer days with chicken livers or stinkbait on the bottom. Warmer weather should make fish more active.

Largemouth and Spotted Bass

Fair

10-22 inches

Fish are cruising the shallows on warm afternoons and feeding. Try spinnerbaits or crankbaits along rocky banks.

Crappie

Poor

8-14 inches

Some fish have moved shallow to spawn. Look for them in the backs of coves on firm substrate.

General Comments
