A trout permit is required to fish for and possess trout during the regular trout season. The trout season runs from OCTOBER 15 to APRIL 15. Trout are stocked every two weeks during the trout season. Shoreline access to this project is excellent. The City recently constructed a wooden deck to improve access for physically challanged anglers.
This lake is enrolled into the Community Fisheries Assistance Program. A city fishing permit is no longer required.
