General Comments

With the warmer temperatures, fishing should begin to improve. Crappie should be moving out of the deeper water and begin to move towards the shallows.  Try for them using small jigs and minnows along the vegetation, rocks and brushpiles. Try for channel catfish using prepared stinkbait, worms or liver. Try for largemouth bass with jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits.  Try for bluegill using small jigs, or a cricket or piece of worm under a bobber.

Please discard of leftover bait in a trash can, even baitfish. Remember it is illegal to release any fish into public water unless it was taken from that water!
