The lake has a large bluegill population, but is dominated by small fish. Just North of the boat ramp is usually a good spot.

The lake has lots of crappie, but not too many over 10 inches. Along the dam or East bank tends to be the best spots.

Recent saugeye samples have been poor, but there are a few keepers around. There is a 18 inch minimium length limit.
