Perry News Letter Good to Excellent 4 pages (lots of pics) Twice a year I will be publishing a newsletter with Perry and other waters in my District. The newest issue is available shortly and features Perry and Leavenworth State Fishing Lake. If you would like to have the newsletter e-mailed to you click on Perry/Leavenworth SFL  newsletter and fill in the blanks.
Bluegill Fair up to 0.3 lbs. Small hunk of worm or spinner around the piers and the corners of the dam.
Channel Catfish Fair-Good up to 6.0 lbs I've pulled the fish feeders for the winter, look for them in the spring.  Fresh shad or cut bait work great this time of year or a dough bait.
Largemouth Bass Fair up to 5.0 lbs Spinner baits and crankbaits worked slow around the brush fish and lilies.
White/ Black Crappie Fair up to 1.0 lbs. Tube jigs in the brush piles.  Fish will be schooling since the water is cooling!

Ken Heaton is almost done with the creel so thank you all for answering a few simple questions this helps us better manage the fishery for you!

I see a few if you have visited the new Facebook page.  I've been posting lots of photos that aren't in the fishing reports: walleye egg collection, stocking and electrofishing.  Just click on this link hopefully you'll LIKE what you see!

We ran the nets a week or so ago and saw some pretty nice catfish, saugeye and fewer but larger white crappie I'll put some numbers up after I'm done netting.

October netting pictures are up now, still some nice largemouth in this lake! Click on NEBO above fishing report to see these fish. Click on the fish species and it will take you to the updated Fishing Forecast.
