Fishing Report - Last Update: 10/2/2014

Species Rating Size Baits, Method, & Location
Bluegill / redear  Fair  6 - 8" Try worms or small jigs and spinners fished slowly around structure and along weedlines. Grasshoppers are also a good bait for bluegill and redear.
Channel catfish  Fair/good

 All sizes.

 (15" minimum length limit)

Try liver, prepared baits, live bait, shad sides, or worms. Channel catfish like grasshoppers too. Four fish feeders are in operation, and fishing in the vicinity of one of the feeders often increases success. Feeding times are at 7:00 am, 1:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 1:00 am.
Crappie  Fair Mostly 7-9 inch fish. Try minnows or small jigs near brush and structure. Many small 7-9 inch fish are available with some bigger fish mixed in. There are ten brush piles marked with fish attractor bouys that often hold fish.
Largemouth bass  Fair  All sizes Try jigs, plastic baits, spinner baits, or crank baits fished along weedlines, drop-offs, brush piles, and other structure.
