Species Rating Size Baits, Method, & Location

Zebra Mussels are present at Clinton Reservoir

Be sure to CLEAN, DRAIN & DRY all equipment that comes in contact with the water to keep from spreading them to another lake.

Crappie Slow 0.3-1.5 lbs Most people are using jigs or small spoons off channels or brush.
Walleye Slow 1-3 lbs Walleye should be on the dam spawning.  Normally jigs, floating diving lures, and other crankbaits produce fish.  Some walleye were taken this week by crappie anglers using jigs.
Wiper Slow 4-6 lbs A few caught this past week on jigs and crankbaits.
Trout - Lake Henry Fair 0.3-1 lb Anglers have been having luck using powerbait, worms, corn, small spinners and jigs.
Boat Ramp Conditions     Concerning low water levels - boat ramps should be OK depth-wise , except be advised that Wakarusa River ramp has at least one foot drop off at the end and Rock Creek ramp not useable. Coon Creek Boat Ramp has minimal water depth and is probably useful for only small boats.
