|Black Crappie||Slow||up to 0.8 lbs||In October we sampled 27 black crappie in traps: 8 were less than 5", 2 were between 5-8", 9 were between 8-10" and 8 were between 10-12" with the largest black crappie being 11.2" and 0.8 lbs. We sampled 46 white crappie in traps: 16 were less than 5", 5 were between 5-8", 19 were between 8-10" and 6 were between 10-12" with the largest white crappie being 11.2" and weighed 0.75 lbs. Tube jigs tipped with a minnow around the brush piles.|
|Bluegill||Slow||up to 0.35 lbs||In October we sampled 137 bluegill in traps: 85 were less than 3", 26 were between 3-6" and 26 were between 6-8" with the largest bluegill being 7.3" and weighed 0.35 lbs. Small jug or spinner tipped with a worm around the brush piles.|
|Channel Catfish||Slow||up to 4.0 lbs||In October we sampled 59 channel catfish in gill nets: 12 were less than 11", 38 were between 11-16" and 9 were between 16-24" with the largest channel catfish being 22.2" and weighing 3.8 lbs. Shad sides work great this time of year even under the ice.|
|Largemouth Bass||Slow||up to 3.0 lbs||In May we sampled 318 largemouth bass by electrofishing: 11 were less than 8", 247 were between 8-12", 31 were between 12-15" and 29 were between 15-20" with the largest bass being 19.5" and weighing 5.4 lbs. Plastics worked slow in that shallow water around the brush.|
|Redear Sunfish||Slow||up to 0.75 lbs.||In October we sampled 15 redear in traps: 13 were between 7-9" and 2 were between 9-11" with the largest redear being 10.0" and weighing 0.6 lbs. Small jig tipped with worm around the vegetation.|
